Lingua e traduzione inglese II/M
- CFU 6
- Prerequisiti
Voto già registrato di Lingua e Traduzione Inglese I/S
- Obiettivi formativi
Modulo A: "Where does that accent come from?": Varieties of English over space and time (14 ore, 3 cfu, primo semestre)
Modulo B: Academic Writing in English: An Introduction to Formulaic Language (16 ore, 3 cfu, secondo semestre)

New Found Lands. An introduction to nonstandard (pre-standard) spelling and "writing the way you say it".
For the Shakespeare text cited "How We Used To Speak" audio, see http://www.bartleby.com/101/137.html.
The other audios are intended to give you an idea of the SOUNDS of the accents, so don't worry if the speech is too fast to understand (sometimes it is VERY fast).
