Valenza AlessandroProfessore a contratto E-mail: a.valenza t33.it PresentazioneAlessandro Valenza, founder and partner at t33, has a Master Degree in political science, specialising in public policy analysis and evaluation research. Since 2000 he has been conducting several studies commissioned by the European Commission (DG ECFIN, DG INFSO, DG REGIO) and the European Parliament. His current responsibilities include also the coordination of a framework contract on economic and social policy carried out on the behalf of the Committee of the Regions, where he leaded a study focused on European Entrepreneurial Regions and the application of SBA at the local level. He recently lead the evaluation of the ERDF ROP Marche 2007-2013 measures aimed at promoting R&D and innovation. As team leader of the DG REGIO study on measuring the impact of changing regulatory requirements to administrative cost and burden of managing ERDF and the Cohesion Fund, he’s deeply involved in the debate on the future of Cohesion policy. Moreover, he recently contributed to other studies analysing the functioning of shared management in EU policies as well as the possibilities for a more result/performance-based delivery system in Cohesion Policy.
